AllerNote is an AI-powered ingredient analysis tool that helps users identify potential allergens in cosmetic and skincare products. The Service includes:

  • Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to read product ingredient lists
  • AI-powered ingredient parsing and identification
  • Matching ingredients against user-defined allergy profiles
  • Educational information about common cosmetic ingredients

AllerNote is NOT a medical device and does NOT provide medical advice.

The Service is intended for informational and educational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

  • Always consult with a qualified healthcare provider or dermatologist before using new products
  • Perform patch tests before applying new products to your skin
  • Do not rely solely on AllerNote to determine product safety
  • Ingredient lists may change; always verify current product labeling
  • AI analysis may not be 100% accurate; use your own judgment

In case of a severe allergic reaction, seek immediate medical attention.

4. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Maintain the security of your password
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on the rights of others
  • Upload malicious content or attempt to hack the Service
  • Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by AllerNote and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of any content you upload (such as product images). By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, process, and analyze that content solely for providing the Service.

7. User-Generated Content

You are responsible for the content you upload or submit to the Service. By submitting content, you represent that:

  • You have the right to share the content
  • The content does not violate any third-party rights
  • The content is not illegal, harmful, or offensive

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms.

8. Accuracy of Information

While we strive to provide accurate ingredient analysis, we cannot guarantee:

  • 100% accuracy in OCR text recognition
  • Complete identification of all allergens or derivatives
  • Up-to-date information on all ingredients
  • Detection of unlisted or trace ingredients
  • Accuracy of user-input allergy information

Users should always verify critical health information through additional sources.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind
  • We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • We are not liable for any allergic reactions, skin conditions, or health issues arising from product use
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the past 12 months

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AllerNote, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights
  • Any content you upload or submit

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting a notice on the Service or sending an email.

Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and AllerNote regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements.
